Depending on what shippers you may come in contact with you may be asked for a SCAC code (Standard Carrier Alpha Code). Many shippers use the SCAC code to identify transportation companies and may require you have one issued (it is also required if you are dealing with any US Government agencies). If you need to have your SCAC code assigned to you please contact us and we will submit your application electronically through NMFTA (National Motor Freight Traffic Association Inc.) and have your Standard Carrier Alpha Code issued right away.
